Ness, I heard from Peter via Satelite phone around 6.30 last night and they were just settling down for lunch after a 6 hour walk. I think everyone ok but very tired after a long grueling walk, (took longer than anticipated) It is very cold with temps dropping to minus 10. Only supposed to be a short day today (4 hours) in preparation for the summit tomorrow. Rick has taken loads of photos apparently, so will hopefully get to see these on their return. Will keep you posted if I get a call tonight.

WOW - thanks so much for the update!! Spoke to Mal for about 5 seconds last night before losing him....
Minus 10 hey - Sven will be freaking out - doesn't handle the cold well at all.
Great to hear that everyone is ok and taking on the challenge!
