The Official Site for the Kilimanjaro Trek for Breast Cancer Foundation of WA
Join The Conquerors from 19th - 29th September 2010 in the Canadian Rockies on a mountain bike ride along the best sections of many famous trails of Sea to Sky Country, the world wide hot bed of mountain biking.
Single trails and forest roads will challenge the riders, while experiencing the dramatically beautiful landscape composed of deep coastal inlets, sheer granite walls, lush rain forests, thundering waterfalls, dormant volcanoes and vast ice fields and glaciers.
The Conquerors are a group of like-minded adventurers joining forces each year to pit their physical and inner strengths against some of the world’s greatest challenges. The primary objectives of the annual events are to succeed in conquering the challenge and have fun doing so, all whilst raising much needed funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation of WA Inc. (BCFWA).
The 2009 Conquerors challenge saw 20 brave souls climb Mt Kilimanjaro with Peregrine. At 5,895m, Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world and the highest mountain in Africa. It was a life changing and awe inspiring trip for all involved and generated over $80,000 for the BCFWA
