Welcome to my special Conquerors Profile!
• AKA – "DD" or "Double D"
• Day Job – Principal/Licencee of Dencorp Financial Solutions, we're a finance broking and financial planning practice in Cannington WA.
• Previous Kilimajaro treks – Never attempted this before.
• Past trekking achievements - I once walked around the block with my dogs, and braved it through a local park with some pretty rough looking teenagers hanging around the playground equipment.
• I’m doing this trek because... It's there.....(same reason man went to the moon - and i cant afford the fee NASA charges to bribe your way into the space program) But in all seriousness, i have had a few friends and family members live through the experience of breast cancer, and it's perhaps an opportunity i may never get again to be a part of a collective campaign of this manner to help make a difference towards research and awareness of this disease.
• What I hope to achieve - The summit - but that's the destination not the experiences and lessons of the journey. A greater understanding about the disease of breast cancer and the ways in which research can help treat it. A better understanding within the community that collectively we can make a difference towards such diseases by helping fund research and development towards cures.
• I’m being sponsored/supported by - family and friends - more welcome!
