WOW!!! We are home! What an absolutely AWESOME experience. We are all spent, drained, exhausted but totally exhilarated!!!!It was unlike anything I have ever experienced before, far more challenging than I had ever imagined, more physically exhausting than I ever expected, more mentally challenging than ever anticipated but so very emotionally enriching.We left camp at 11.30pm in pitch black and freezing temperatures for a 7 hour trek striaght UP. • I’m doing this trek because: I have an adventorous soul and I LOVE a challenge.
My mantra is "There are only Two Times in Life...Now and Too Late!!
• What I hope to achieve: Firstly, I intend reaching the summit, then that AWESOME feeling of ADRENALIN that automatically comes with achieving something momentous. Then there is self satisfaction, personal fulfilment, an entire new realm of freindships and the ability to CONTRIBUTE by helping raise in excess of $100,000 for my special charity the Breast Cancer Foundation of WA (BCFWA) and all this without a single blister to boot!!!!!!
